Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Candidates must have passed Class 10 or Matric examination from a recognized Board on or before 01 January 2026.
NCC certificate holders will receive additional marks as per notified scheme.
Nationality
The applicant must be an Indian citizen. Domicile/PRC conditions apply for certain posts except Assam and notified categories.
Age Limit
- Minimum: 18 years
Maximum: 23 years
As on: 01 January 2026 - Relaxation in upper age limit:
SC/ST: 5 years
OBC: 3 years
Ex-Servicemen: 3 years after service deduction
Victims of 1984 riots and dependents: Additional relaxation as per category norms

Essential Instructions
- New One-Time Registration on ssc.gov.in is compulsory; old registration from ssc.nic.in is invalid
- Documents will be verified during Medical Stage by CAPFs
- Applications are initially provisional and eligibility will be confirmed only after verification
- Candidates claiming reservation must hold valid category certificates in prescribed format
- Candidates who migrated to another state must choose reservation status at the time of application and it cannot be changed later
