Eligibility Criteria for Haryana Police Constable Recruitment 2026
Educational Qualification
Candidates must have passed 10+2 from a recognized board or institution. Hindi or Sanskrit must have been studied up to the matric level or higher. No additional weightage will be given for higher educational qualifications.
CET Requirement
Applicants must have qualified for the Common Eligibility Test for Group C. General category candidates must secure at least 50 percent marks, while reserved category candidates must secure a minimum of 40 percent marks.

Selection Process for Haryana Police Constable Recruitment 2026
Physical Measurement Test
The Physical Measurement Test is qualifying in nature. Male candidates must meet the prescribed height and chest standards, while female candidates must meet the required height standards as per category.
Physical Screening Test
The Physical Screening Test is also qualifying in nature. Male candidates must complete a 2.5-kilometer run in 12 minutes. Female candidates must complete a 1-kilometer run in 6 minutes. Ex-servicemen must complete a 1-kilometer run in 5 minutes.
Knowledge Test
The Knowledge Test carries 97 percent weightage and consists of objective multiple-choice questions. General category candidates must secure at least 50 percent marks, while reserved category candidates must secure at least 40 percent marks. The syllabus includes general studies, general science, current affairs, reasoning, mental aptitude, numerical ability, agriculture, animal husbandry, computer knowledge, and Haryana general knowledge. The paper will be bilingual in Hindi and English.
Additional Weightage
Candidates can earn up to 3 additional marks for NCC certificates. One mark is awarded for an NCC A certificate, two marks for an NCC B certificate, and three marks for an NCC C certificate.
