Eligibility Criteria
Graduate Apprentice
- Degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized university or institution.
Technician Apprentice
- Diploma in Engineering or Technology granted by a State Technical Board or recognized university.
Graduate Apprentice (General Stream)
- Degree in any non-engineering subject such as B.A, B.Sc, or B.Com.
Trade Apprentice
- ITI in relevant trades like Electrician, Plumber, Lineman, or Fitter.
- Minimum educational qualification: 10th pass (for some trades 8th pass).
Age Limit
- Minimum: 18 years
- Maximum: 28 years
- Age relaxation is applicable as per government norms.
Selection Process
- Selection will be based on merit, determined by marks obtained in the qualifying examination (Degree/Diploma/ITI).
- Preference will be given to candidates from the state where the power stations are located.
- The final list of selected candidates will be published on NEEPCO’s official website.
How to Apply
Step 1: Register Online
- Visit the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal: https://nats.education.gov.in
- Complete your registration and obtain a valid Enrollment ID.
Note: If you are applying for a Technician (Diploma) role, register under the Diploma category only.
Step 2: Apply for NEEPCO
- Log in to the NATS portal and search for “NEEPCO” under the establishment section.
- Select the advertisement and choose the stream you’re eligible for.
- Submit your application before 8th November 2025.
Step 3: For ITI Trade Apprentices
- Apply through the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) portal: www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in.
- Register online and complete your profile before the deadline.
