Eligibility Criteria

General Stream

Master’s Degree or a two-year Post Graduate Diploma in any discipline, or a Bachelor’s Degree in Law or Engineering. Professional qualifications such as CA, CFA, CS, or CMA are also acceptable.

Legal Stream

Bachelor’s Degree in Law.

Information Technology

Engineering degree in any branch, or a Bachelor’s Degree along with a two-year postgraduate qualification in IT, computer science, or computer applications.

Research Stream

Master’s Degree or a two-year Post Graduate Diploma in subjects such as Economics, Commerce, Business Administration, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, AI, ML, or related fields.

Official Language

Master’s Degree in Hindi or Hindi Translation with English at the Bachelor’s level, or a Master’s Degree in English, Economics, Commerce, or Sanskrit with Hindi as a subject at the Bachelor’s level.

Engineering (Electrical)

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.

Engineering (Civil)

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.


Age Limit

Maximum age: 30 years as of 30 September 2025.
Applicants must be born on or after 1 October 1995.

Age Relaxation

  • PwBD: 10 years

Salary and Benefits

The pay scale for Grade A officers is:
62,500 – 3600 (4 increments) – 76,900 – 4050 (7 increments) – 1,05,250 – EB – 4050 (4 increments) – 1,21,450 – 4650 (1 increment) – 1,26,100

Approximate monthly gross salary at the starting level in Mumbai:

  • Without accommodation: Rs. 1,84,000
  • With accommodation: Rs. 1,43,000
