Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Graduate in any discipline plus MBA in Hospital Administration (2-year regular course).
- PGDCA or equivalent computer proficiency is desirable where specified.
Experience
- Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience in private or government hospitals.
- At least 2 years in managerial roles or in Health Care Quality specialization is required.
Other Requirements
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and web browsing.
- Fluency in Telugu and English; local language knowledge preferred.
- Willingness to travel and ability to synthesise technical information into reports.
- PG degree must be from an institute recognised by AICTE or relevant authority.
Salary and Tenure
Remuneration
- Consolidated pay of ₹61,960 per month on contract basis (as per RPS 2022).
- Appointment is contractual; candidates are not permitted to engage in private work during tenure.
Age Limit and Relaxation
Upper Age Limit
- Maximum age: 42 years (as on 26 August 2025).
Age Relaxation
- SC/ST/BC/EWS: +5 years
- Ex-Servicemen: +3 years plus length of service
- Differently abled persons: +10 years (subject to maximum limits after all relaxations)
- Candidates from other states will be treated as OC with no state-specific relaxation.

Selection Process
Evaluation Components
- Academic qualification: Up to 65 marks (based on percentage in qualifying examination).
- Computer skills: Up to 15 marks (practical/assessment).
- Interview: 20 marks (communication, domain knowledge, managerial ability).
Merit and Tie-Break
- Final merit based on combined marks.
- In case of a tie, the older candidate will be given preference.
- Merit list will be published on the APMSRB website.
