Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Soldier (General Duty): 10th pass with at least 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject.
- Soldier (Clerk): 12th pass (Arts, Commerce, or Science) with 60% aggregate and 50% in each subject. Minimum 50% in English and Math/Accounts/Book Keeping in Class 12 is required.
- Soldier Tradesmen (except House Keeper & Mess Keeper): 10th pass with at least 33% in each subject.
- Soldier Tradesmen (House Keeper & Mess Keeper): 8th pass with at least 33% in each subject.
Physical Standards
For Male Candidates
- Height: 160 cm (relaxable to 157 cm for candidates from the Eastern Himalayan region and hilly areas).
- Chest: 77–82 cm (expanded).
- Weight: As per Army standards (proportionate to height and age).
For Female Candidates
- Height: 157 cm (relaxable to 152 cm for Eastern Himalayan region and hilly areas).
- Chest: Minimum expansion of 5 cm.
- Weight: As per Army standards (proportionate to height and age).
Age Limit
- Minimum: 18 years
- Maximum: 42 years
