State-wise and Zone-wise Vacancy Details

Eligibility Criteria
Nationality
Applicants must be citizens of India.
Educational Qualification
Candidates should possess a graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university or institution approved by the Government of India.
Graduation Passing Period
The graduation degree must have been completed between 01 April 2021 and 01 December 2025.
Apprenticeship Conditions
- Candidates who have already completed apprenticeship training with Bank of India or any other organization are not eligible.
- Candidates with one year or more work experience after graduation are also not eligible.
- Registration on the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal is mandatory.
Medical Fitness
Final engagement is subject to medical fitness certified by a registered medical practitioner with at least an MBBS qualification.
Age Limit and Relaxation (as on 01 December 2025)

- Maximum Age: 28 years
Age relaxation is applicable as follows:
- SC/ST candidates: 5 years
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
- Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD): 10 years
Stipend Details
Selected apprentices will receive a total monthly stipend of ₹13,000, which includes:
- Bank’s contribution: ₹8,500 per month
- Government of India support: ₹4,500 per month (credited directly through DBT to the apprentice’s NATS-linked account)
No additional allowances or benefits will be provided.
Application Fee
The application and examination fee must be paid online only:
- PwBD candidates: ₹400 + GST
- SC / ST / All Women candidates: ₹600 + GST
- All other candidates: ₹800 + GST
The fee is non-refundable and bank transaction charges, if any, must be borne by the applicant.

Selection Process
The selection will be carried out in multiple stages:
Stage 1 – Online Written Examination
The test will consist of 100 questions for 100 marks with a duration of 90 minutes. Sections include:
- General / Financial Awareness
- English Language (qualifying in nature)
- Quantitative and Reasoning Aptitude
- Computer Knowledge
Stage 2 – Local Language Proficiency Test
Candidates qualifying the written exam must demonstrate proficiency in the local language of the applied state. This test may be waived if the candidate has studied the local language in Class 10 or 12.
Final Selection
The final merit list will be prepared state-wise and category-wise based on marks obtained in the online examination. In case of a tie, older candidates will be placed higher in merit.
Apprenticeship Terms and Conditions
- The apprenticeship duration is one year only.
- This training does not guarantee permanent employment in Bank of India.
- Apprentices will be posted in branches or offices within the applied state as per bank requirements.
- Apprentices are not permitted to form or join unions.
- On successful completion, candidates will receive a proficiency certificate from the Board of Apprenticeship Training (BOAT).

- Log in to the NATS account and apply for the apprenticeship vacancy advertised by Bank of India.
- After applying on NATS, wait for the email from BFSI SSC.
- Complete the final application form, select zone and category, and pay the examination fee online.
