Eligibility Criteria for IOCL Apprentice Recruitment 2026
Educational Qualification
Candidates must have completed the required qualification as a regular full-time course from a recognized institute.
Trade Apprentice (ITI):
Matriculation with 2-year ITI in relevant trade such as Fitter, Electrician, Machinist, Electronics Mechanic, Instrument Mechanic, etc., recognized by NCVT or SCVT.
Technician Apprentice (Diploma):
3-year Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrical & Electronics) with
• Minimum 50% marks for General/OBC/EWS
• Minimum 45% marks for SC/ST/PwBD
Graduate Apprentice:
Graduation in any discipline such as BA, B.Com, B.Sc, BBA with minimum
• 50% marks for General/OBC/EWS
• 45% marks for SC/ST/PwBD
Data Entry Operator Apprentice:
12th Pass (below graduate level). Skill certificate holders must possess a valid NSQF-recognized certificate.

Must have Aadhaar, PAN card, and Aadhaar-linked bank account
Candidates should be medically fit as per IOCL standards

Trade Apprentice:
Stipend as per Apprentices Act rules + ₹2,500 miscellaneous expenses
Stipend is paid partly through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) and partly by IOCL.
