Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications
• ITI Trades: Matric with regular full-time 2-year ITI in Fitter, Electrician, Electronics Mechanic, Instrument Mechanic or Machinist
• Technician Apprentice: Three-year full-time Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Civil, Electrical & Electronics, Electronics with required minimum marks
• Graduate Apprentice: Regular full-time Graduation in any discipline with required aggregate percentage
• Data Entry Operator (Fresher): Class 12th with prescribed aggregate
• Data Entry Operator (Skilled): Class 12th with Skill Certificate for Domestic Data Entry Operator
Essential Conditions
• Only full-time regular courses are acceptable
• Distance, part-time or correspondence qualifications are not valid
• Only candidates who completed their qualification within the specified timelines are eligible
• Candidates with higher professional qualifications such as B.E., B.Tech, MBA, LLB, MCA, CA, ICWA are not eligible
• Candidates must provide percentage equivalent in case of CGPA/OGPA
• Lateral entry diploma holders are eligible subject to percentage rules
Previous Apprenticeship Rules
• A candidate may undergo two apprenticeships, but not both in the same trade
• Minimum one-year gap required between two apprenticeships (except employer-terminated cases)
• Three-month waiting period applicable in special circumstances
• No waiting period for women
• Candidates previously terminated for failure on employer’s part may reapply without gap
Salary/Stipend
• Stipend will be paid monthly
• Applicable rates will follow Apprentices Act amendments
• Final stipend details will be communicated at engagement stage
Age Limit (as on 31 December 2025)
• Minimum: 18 years
• Maximum: 24 years
• Relaxations:
• SC/ST – 5 years
• OBC NCL – 3 years
• PwBD – 10 years
• PwBD (SC/ST) – 15 years
