Eligibility Criteria

Assistant Commissioner
A Master’s degree with at least 50 percent marks and a B.Ed from an NCTE-recognized institution.

Principal
A Master’s degree with a minimum of 50 percent marks and a B.Ed with 50 percent marks or an integrated B.Ed-M.Ed program.

Vice Principal
A Master’s degree with at least 50 percent marks and a B.Ed or integrated B.Ed-M.Ed with the same minimum requirement.

Post Graduate Teachers
A Master’s degree in the relevant subject with at least 50 percent marks and a B.Ed from an NCTE-recognized institution.

Primary Teachers
A senior secondary qualification with at least 50 percent marks from a recognized board, along with a degree in Music or Performing Arts.

Selection Process

Shortlisted candidates for the interview and final stage must present a medical certificate confirming their fitness for the post applied.
For certain posts, the selection involves a two-tier examination followed by an interview.
The merit list is prepared using a weightage of 85 percent marks from Tier-II and 15 percent from the interview.

The Tier-II examination consists of:
– General Awareness & Current Affairs: 20 questions (60 marks)
– Basic Computer Knowledge: 40 questions (120 marks)
– English Language Competency: 20 questions (60 marks)
– Modern Indian Language Competency: 20 questions (60 marks)

Total: 100 questions, 300 marks.


How to Apply

Candidates must apply only through the official websites of CBSE, KVS, or NVS. Applications submitted elsewhere will not be accepted.
Applicants should register on the portal, create a login ID and password, and then complete the online form by uploading the required documents, including their recent photograph and signature.

Only one application per post is permitted. If a candidate applies for multiple positions, each application requires a separate fee.

All personal details—such as name, parents’ names, date of birth, and caste—must match the candidate’s Class X certificate. No corrections will be allowed after submission.
