Eligibility Criteria

General Stream

Master’s Degree or Post Graduate Diploma (minimum two years), or Bachelor’s Degree in Law, or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, or Chartered Accountant, Chartered Financial Analyst, Company Secretary, or Cost Accountant.

Legal Stream

Bachelor’s Degree in Law from a recognized university or institute.

Information Technology Stream

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering in any branch OR
Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with a two-year postgraduate qualification in Computer Science, Computer Application, or Information Technology.

Research Stream

Master’s Degree or two-year PG Diploma in any of the following:
Economics, Commerce, Business Administration, Econometrics, Financial Economics, Statistical fields, Data Science, AI/ML, Big Data Analytics, or related subjects.
(Recognized equivalent as per Association of Indian Universities.)

Official Language Stream

Master’s Degree in Hindi/Hindi Translation with English at Bachelor’s level OR
Master’s Degree in Sanskrit/English/Economics/Commerce with Hindi at Bachelor’s level OR
Master’s in both English and Hindi/Hindi Translation.

Engineering (Electrical)

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.

Engineering (Civil)

Pay and Benefits

Salary Structure

The pay scale for Grade A Officers is:
₹62,500 – 3,600 (4 increments) – 76,900 – 4,050 (7 increments) – 1,05,250 – EB – 4,050 (4 increments) – 1,21,450 – 4,650 (1 increment) – 1,26,100

Gross Monthly Emoluments

Approximately ₹1,84,000 per month (without accommodation)
Approximately ₹1,43,000 per month (with accommodation)
