Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Soldier (General Duty):
10th Pass with 45% aggregate and 33% in each subject.
For grading system boards – minimum D grade (33–40%) per subject and C2 overall. - Soldier (Clerk):
12th Pass (Arts, Commerce, or Science) with 60% aggregate and 50% in each subject.
Must have 50% in English and Math/Accounts/Bookkeeping in Class 12. - Soldier Tradesmen (Except House Keeper & Mess Keeper):
10th Pass, with at least 33% in each subject. - Soldier Tradesmen (House Keeper & Mess Keeper):
8th Pass, with at least 33% in each subject.
Physical Standards
For Male Candidates
- Height: Minimum 160 cm
Relaxation: 157 cm for candidates from Eastern Himalayan Region (Sikkim, Manipur, Nagaland, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Assam, etc.) and for Gorkhas, Garhwalis, and Ladakhis. - Chest: 77 cm (unexpanded), 82 cm (expanded)
- Weight: As per Army standards
For Female Candidates
- Height: Minimum 157 cm
Relaxation: 152 cm for candidates from Eastern Himalayan Region and Indian Domicile Gorkhas. - Chest Expansion: Minimum 5 cm
- Weight: As per Army standards
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 42 years
